Aphrodite Strings

Stunning String Quartet Music for Weddings and Events across the West Midlands

Aphrodite String Quartet was formed in 2008 by founder members Chloe Millar and Antonia Finch, who trained at The Birmingham Conservatoire and The Royal College of Muisc, London. Together with a tight-knit community of fellow freelance musicians and friends, they have played at several hundred, if not thousands of weddings and international functions over the years, always delivering exeptional quality and a friendly service. Members of the quartet are currently working as freelance orchestral players and have enjoyed numerous high profile engagements, performing for The CBSO, English Symphony Orchestra, Sinfonia Viva, Longborough Festival Opera Orchestra, Collabro, Lea Salonga, il Divo, Katherine Jenkins, Alfie Boe, Tim Minchin, Gloria Estefan, Celine Dion, George Benson, Smokey Robinson, Chris de Burgh, Barry Manilow, and Johnny Mathis. Chloe and Antonia are very excited to be on a forthcoming Led Zeppelin tribute tour, adding a rock style 'string to their bow'.

We pride ourselves on our quality service, providing you with stunning music that is guaranteed to add a unique air of sophistication and class to your occasion.  Here are some kind words from previous clients:

"I just wanted to say a huge thank you for the wonderful music you provided at my wedding on Saturday.  It helped to make it a truly magical day that we will never forget!  Thanks again."

"Aphrodite Strings performed in the church for the ceremony and at our wedding reception afterwards. I can honestly say that having them perform on the big day was a brilliant decision, they are very talented musicians and helped us create the tasteful occasion we had hoped for.  From the moment we met Antonia she was extremely helpful, accommodating and nothing was too much trouble for her. We would thoroughly recommend Aphrodite Strings and I can't thank them enough for making our day so special- they really are superb performers and lovely people too."
